Filaretova Hospice Ltd. is the first hospice in Sofia registered under the law for the medical institutions.
24 hours a day qualified medical specialists take professional care of the patient at the hospital or at their home.
24 hours a day qualified medical specialists take professional care of the patient at the hospital or at their home. The main activity of the hospice is a 24 hour medical supervision and long treatment of chronically sick persons, invalids, people with serious illnesses in an advanced phase and people with social medical problems.
There are patients of all ages in the hospice (both children and adults).
The patients of the hospice are attended to by a team consisting of:
- a nurse, a rehabilitation therapist, a social worker and a health-officer.

- a consulting physician, a psychologist and a clergyman.
The team also attends to patients at their private homes for medical examinations, treatment, health and sanitary care and social medical rehabilitation.
